The founder had a non-working product and a development agency that was pulling money and delivering nothing. I replaced them with a lean offshore team, fixed the product, and got it to launch. We're now testing with friends and family. I believed in it enough to invest my own money and time in exchange for equity.

One challenge I took on was building a technology department from scratch. There were people handling basic technical operations, but no real innovation. I grew the team from 6 to nearly 40, and helped the company move 60% of its sales to digital channels.
من التحديات اللي خضتها إني بنيت إدارة تقنية من الصفر. كان فيه ناس يسوّون شغل تقني تشغيلي بسيط، بس بدون أي ابتكار. كبّرت الفريق من ٦ موظفين لحوالي ٤٠، وساعدت الشركة تحول ٦٠٪ من المبيعات إلى قنوات رقمية.
I started my career as a researcher at KACST, working on Arabic search and language processing. From there I moved to Mobily, where I led digital services and value-added platforms at scale. Then I spent nearly nine years at Alamar Foods, rising from e-Commerce Manager to Group CTO, leading digital transformation across the QSR business, building everything from online ordering platforms to contact centers to cloud infrastructure.

Today I'm CTO at FlyAkeed, leading the technology strategy for online travel booking in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East. I also co-founded and invested in Circl, because when I believe in what someone is building, I put real skin in the game.
